One of the ways he does this is frogging embroidery, a relatively recent technical advancement – inspired by military and hussar uniforms – that he developed alongside craftspeople in Morocco. It’s an incredibly meticulous technique, but this robe highlights how powerful the results can be when paired with Italian two-ply cotton poplin and jaunty stripes.
