Philodendron Selloum ‘hope’ -Philodendron bipinnatifidum – Thaumatophyllum bipinnatifidum – Tree Philodendron
What’s not to love about a philodendron? These plants are easygoing, beautiful and classic.
Plant Care
Light: Bright indirect light is best. Will tolerate higher light conditions but not keen on low light situations.
Watering: Water when the top inch feels dry to the touch. Give it a good soak and let the water run out the bottom, don’t let it sit in water to avoid root rot.
Temperature: Ideal conditions are 18-29°C. These plants prefer things on the warmer side, so they are not a good choice for a cold conservatory but will tolerate down to 13°C.
Potting: A well-draining mix is ideal for these plants; our Airy Aroid mix is the perfect match.
Hot tips: Be sure to rotate this plant regularly to ensure even growth.
Pet Friendly: NOPE, but due to leaf size and shape, our cat doesn’t seem interested in taking a bite.
