Nazzy Beglari started designing with silk organza after visiting a small Parisian boutique filled with the fabric. At first, she was apprehensive, as she knew the challenge was in the hard-to-tame lightness due to the material’s extremely low density. Soon, she realised that this point of contention is what makes it so special, and found the magic in its transparency – the way its semi-sheer quality picks up the colours worn underneath. Here, the fabric forms a romantic backdrop to the blooms she hand-embroiders atop.
