She sees the process as a form of double recycling, as the rugs – made from recycled textiles – are then repurposed once more into footwear. They are handcrafted in Morocco by skilled weavers and shoemakers, where details such as lambskin linings and soles are added. Due to the unique sourcing process, every pair is different.
