It’s said that Santa Croce in Pisa is home to some of Italy’s finest leather, which is why Cassigoli’s design objects are coated in hides of such provenance. Crafted by the hands of Tuscan artisans, each piece is finished with tonal stitching and environmentally conscious water-based glue – details that echo the modern and minimal rationale laid out by the founding grandmother of the man currently at the helm, Leonardo Bindi. The Minimal tray has a soft grain that highlights Cassigoli’s leather know-how.
