Andrea Brugi grew up in the Tuscan countryside, which instilled in him an appreciation of olivewood. So, when he started making his rustic designs alongside wife and co-founder Samina, olivewood seemed like the natural choice. In the workshop 800 metres outside Tuscany, Samina and craftsman Giovanni utilise carving and sanding techniques passed on by Andrea to make each unique piece by hand.
