Fantasmino XL Hand-Blown Murano Glass Portable Lamp
If you feel a sense of déjà vu when looking at the Fantasmino lamp, it’s because it bears a close resemblance to the Fazzoletto vase from 1948. The rechargeable and portable LED piece is handmade in Murano using the Opalini technique. The process dates back to the 15th century and sees opacifying substances added to glass during kneading, leading to a block colour. The results are a wonderful fusion of old and new, highlighting Venini’s ability to honour the archives through a contemporary lens. Here, it’s reimagined in an extra-large size and complete with a gold-tone loop and base.
